Meet Eloise, a most distinguished little feline who serves as the beloved librarian of the village's charming Victorian library. Always dressed in her finest attire and never without her trusty umbrella, Eloise is a lady of considerable learning, impeccable manners, and an extraordinary fondness for the written word. She is particularly knowledgeable about Victorian literature and can recite passages from nearly every Christmas tale ever written.

December is Eloise's favourite time of year, for it is then that the library becomes a wonderfully cosy refuge from the winter chill. Each afternoon, she gathers the village children around the crackling fireplace to share beloved Christmas stories, with Charles Dickens being a particular favourite. She knows every ghost in A Christmas Carol, every turn of Scrooge's remarkable transformation, and precisely when to pause for dramatic effect.

Although Eloise is rather particular about the proper care of books and insists that umbrellas be left neatly by the door, she possesses the warmest of hearts. She firmly believes that a wonderful story, much like Christmas itself, has the power to bring people together, stir the imagination, and remind us of the kindness and magic that can be found in the most unexpected places.

Nestled inside a genuine oyster shell gathered from the sparkling coastal waters of British Columbia, this handcrafted ornament celebrates cherished traditions, treasured memories and the joy of keeping old stories alive for generations to come.  Whether displayed on a Christmas tree, woven through garland, tucked into a wreath, or styled on a festive holiday table, it is a treasured keepsake designed to be cherished for generations.
